After my Public Access to law course, I was quite surprised with what I saw in the four courts. Not that it was bad no actually it was the opposite I really enjoyed my time with the barrister and his Devil. I was able to watch different cases from and see how the barrister spoke I was able to see what the life of a barrister was which to be honest was different.
I could not perform many duties as I can't stand in front of the courtroom and speak about his clients and with the confidentiality I could not be going through his files.
I met with a journalist who also allowed me along with the other girl that was with me to write a story on a Ryanair case where a law student was scaled with hot water on the way home from holidays. He was later awarded 10,000 in addition to his costs. It was a good experience to see the journalism side of law as well as the life of a barrister.
Three things that stool out most to me on this work experience were

Three things that stool out most to me on this work experience were
- The way in which people deal with judges and clients and how they talk in a courtroom in front of all of those people.
- The way the press are always given a table as I believed that they would only show up to very important cases like high profile murders or celebrity crimes.
- How some people manage ddd to almost cheat the system and get money where I thought they would not or get more than I expected and while I can't go into detail on which particular cases because then I would be liable to be sued (I don't want that so please don't sue).
