America
The USA the land of the free was one of the best trip I have had probably ever and while I would like to say that hopefully the next one could top it I would have to be crazy to think that anything could get better than this.
On the week that the rest of my fellow classmates were singing and dancing, I was in the USA.
My time in America was amazing from what I was able to see from the things treated as normal in America.
My trip involved sightseeing and food lots of good good food and missing a place that I just haven’t felt for another country or place that I have visited that I can remember.
So let’s start with sightseeing I was in the Washington DC area so I got to see great monuments along the national mall. For Example the Washington monument, the Lincoln memorial the reflection pool and the White house. I also got to visit museums like the Air and Space Museum, The Udvar-Hazy Centre and the Natural History Museum.
The sights were amazing and absolutely massive I had not even realised the colossal behemoths that were the Monuments there were also more tragic monuments such as the Vietnam Memorial and the Korean memorial with the first having names of the deaths of the soldiers and the other with life sized statues that seemed too human.
Overall I can’t say I have a word to describe my trip I just smile when I think back to it the closest thing I can use to describe is wonder of everything new that was in the Great US of A
My main tourist sites were along the National Mall from seeing the sombre war Memorials Such as the Vietnam and South Korean memorials to the Lincoln Memorial. There were monuments that were truly awesome the sheer scale of the Lincoln Memorial that the size of the giant that was the statue of the chairs.
I also have gotten the opportunity to try the bigger things in the US like food, which I can safely say that I can see why there is a bit of a problem of obesity. While that might be a massive understatement, I still really did like the food. With the trying of sweets from across the pond to going to a restaurant that only served steak and chips, I really did like the food there.
Overall, I really liked the trip to the US to be more specific that is the best trip that I can remember in my lifetime, I have had some good ones, and I can still say that I prefer this above all others
